No Joke, millions and millions of players are trying to be the next "star" in poker, but here is a short list of 4 of the more well known "great players" of poker. Despite the fact that "nice" is associated with their names when you are at a poker table it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have put you out of the game!
Daniel Negreanu
In 2004, his tourney payouts added up to in the region of $4.4 million and he captured 2 highly respected awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Tournament Player of the Year. Howard Lederer
Known as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His success has allowed him to make an instructional video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and also hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. As of Two Thousand and Five, his complete life time winnings surpass $2.7 million.
Scotty Nguyen
Scotty is one of the most active players in poker and from Two Thousand and Two Thousand and Four he ranked in the money in excess of 100 events.
