Beginners Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about other, more skillful individuals winning their moolla.

One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, beginners can take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It’s also much simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
